Hello, and Happy Pride Month! June is Pride Month, which celebrates people who identify as various sexual orientations and gender identities across the spectrum, as well as to commemorate Black trans pioneer/activist Marsha P. Johnson and butch lesbian Storme Delaverie who led the Stonewall riot in June 1969 which won Gay Rights. There are many ways to celebrate Pride Month this month and every month, and one way we celebrate in the bookish community is by reading and supporting queer books by queer authors.
I compiled a list of books I plan to read for Pride Month and included LGBTQ+ organizations to support and donate to as well.
